The Fall of Blackbottom Release #3 | Next Theme! (Patreon)

Hey all!

We're here with the third and final set of this month's The Fall of Blackbottom maps!

For this theme, we're releasing the maps that we recently created for MCDM's Draw Steel adventure of the same name, which released on Black Friday and is available now on the MCDM store!

These maps span locations in a gritty, urban sprawl described as a medieval Gotham. Let's get started!

Speakeasy

This underground tavern provides a safe escape to enjoy a drink and plot a scheme, away from the dangers of the city above. A stage allows for a distracting play, or a rousing speech to be delivered to inspire the revellers.

Foundry users are able to pass beneath the overhead lighting canopies.

Egress Camp

In the outskirts of the city, a hastily-assembled camp is defended and barricaded to hide its contents from prying eyes. Within, an arcane ritual is being assembled for reasons unknown.

Workshop

This secret workshop is the site of many experiments. Judging by the skeletons littering the room, not all of them went as planned. Now research material, artefacts and arcane components are scattered throughout the chamber.

City Limits

This simple stretch of country road is situated outside of the settlement, and provides an easy navigation scene for your characters to get from A to B. Variants are included for day/night.

Hawk Transport

This floating platform can be used to carry troops or equipment over long distances using flying companions or machinery. Rope tethers extend upwards, allowing you to place your own tokens above the platform to represent them carrying it. Variants are included for day/night.

Foundry users are able to pass beneath the overhead rope canopies, whilst the clouds and ocean slowly scroll by below.

The theme gallery has been updated with these maps, whilst pCloud and the Foundry Module are now available with the new content!

Next Theme | Faewilds 2

Following on from our recent Patron poll, we're excited to announce that next month's theme will be Faewilds 2 - returning to a theme we haven't visited since the first year of The MAD Cartographer!
