Hey all!

Today we're excited to release our third Patron Poll MADventure - Umbral Halls!

(We've managed to get this adventure created in half the time we normally develop them, in hopes of moving forward with a monthly MADventure!)

This adventure is the result of our previous poll, where the community voted for ad adventure in the APL 6-10 range using our Gauntlet of Loss map.

Umbral Halls is a fifth-edition adventure for three to five characters of 6th to 8th level and is optimized for four characters with an average party level (APL) of 7. As with all of our recent MADventures, Umbral Halls has been designed to insert into an existing campaign as an independent side adventure with a few simple renames.

"Bunkara McNult is a renowned and respected wizard in the town of Buffy Oak who has gone missing after pursuing obscure references found in a sealed arcane tome. The book centered on cosmic magic built around absence rather than creation - on the void between stars and the great dark beyond. She departed alone to investigate, trusting her magic shop to Gavlin, her apprentice.

Weeks have passed and Bunkara has still not returned. Now Gavlin, fearful and out of his depth, seeks help from any willing adventurers to recover his tutor."

Umbral Halls includes:

A fully formatted adventure journal.

3 Scenes.

14 Actors.

16 Items.

1 new Spell.

1 Roll Table

The adventure opens in the small village of Buffy Oak, where the sorcerous supply store Wizard's Wants is struggling for business, as the inexperienced apprentice Gavlin desperately tries to keep things running smoothly despite the absence of their master.

After (hopefully!) accepting Gavlin's request for help, the group find themselves travelling towards the suspected last location of his master. Along the way, they may be beset by travelling encounters!

Eventually, they find their way to the Umbral Halls themselves - an ancient, underground arcane sanctum dedicated to the study of a long-lost cosmic school of magic. Here, they attempt to unravel the mystery of what befell the missing wizard, and what terrible force is attempting to emerge into the world from the void of space!

Patrons are able to install the Foundry module for Umbral Halls now by installing the manifest file, now available in the Monthly Exclusives section of the All The Things™ tier Master List!

This Foundry adventure will be free for All the Things tier Patrons until the end of the month, after which point it will be available on our web shop and other marketplaces!

We hope you enjoy this MADventure release!

Thanks for all your support, and as ever...Keep rollin' those 20s folks!Harrison, Alex, and Team MAD

Side note - Do you have any tutorials on how you deal with elevation changes in your foundry maps? That is stellar!
