Important: Our Patreon Tier Changes (April) (Patreon)

Hey all!

Big announcement about the changes we're making from April regarding our Patreon, we've eluded to this a few times over the last few weeks, and now we have everything in place that we can make an official announcement.

I tried to keep it as short as possible, but there's a lot to talk about. Making big changes like this are never easy, particularly when folks disable a lot of the notifications from Patreon, we'll do our best to get the message out to you all.

 If you aren't in a place to watch then below are the more abridged version of the changes. Check at the bottom of the post for information about your current back catalogue:

Adding New Tier: Starter Bundle $5 USDThis will be our new entry level Patreon tier and the replacement for the Mini Bundle, a cheaper options, with some mixed around content.

5 maps per month (VTT and print), no back catlogue, 30 map welcome pack

Our full asset library

Removing Current Tier: Mini Bundle $8.33 USDThis tier will get the benefits of the Starter Bundle (as we feel it is of an equivalent value to the content in the current Mini Bundle), please switch to the Starter Bundle tier at the end of the month when it is released or for only $1.67 more switch to the Essentials Bundle and get a lot more content each month.

Adding New Tier: Essential Bundle ($10)

This will be a cheaper version of the current Essentials Bundle tier, you will need to manually switch to this tier to make this saving. We cannot change active tier prices, if you remain in the current Essentials Bundle $12.50 then you will get the same content as the new tier, but you will not be making the same saving (if you wish to stay in this tier then feel free!)

All the maps we make for each monthly theme, including blanks

6 Months Back catalogue, oldest theme is removed each month as the new theme begins

Dungeondraft integration with assets (Coming "Soon")

Updated Tier: All The Things™ ($16.67)

Some perks from this tier have been added into other tiers, with new perks added into this one

Key Points

Commercial License tier, you will be able to make your own maps and adventures with our content and sell it

Foundry VTT Benefits- Patrons can automatically link their Patreon account to Foundry VTT instead of us sending the JSON out each month. Packs are only downloadable/available for update whilst you remain a patron of The MAD Cartographer- Entire Foundry Back Catalogue Available Our content will no longer be restricted each month, signing up to this tier gives you access to all our previous themes whilst you remain a patron. People who already have the previous themes on the old JSON will still be able to use them if they stop supporting us on Patreon (you have essentially purchased them)- Integration with Moulinette, now that our content is not being restricted we can add our maps and all our assets to Moulinette- One free adventure from Crucible Magazine each month in its own standalone module (monthly exclusive)

CURRENT BACK CATALOGUE

At the end of the month the links to the MyAirBridge folders that you currently have access to will be removed from Patreon, but they will remain active. We will send you a link over Patreon Private message so that you retain access to any back catalogue that you currently have access to (the same MyAirBridge link available from your tiers Master List) and the password will not change. However we recommend that at some point you consider downloading and storing these files in the event that we have to change our cloud service.
