Doki Doki Literature Club

The Doki Doki Literature Club Audio, tentatively titled "Monika's Audio" is slated for June 30th, the 5th anniversary of Doki Doki Literature Club+ !

The original script was shorter and only focused on Yuri and Natsuki, with Monika's role being much less involved. I decided to infuse more of what makes DDLC unique into not just the script, but the way the story will unfold. I also decided to retool the themes of the audio - it was always intended to be something of a thinkpiece on the absurd nature of creating NSFW content - but I wanted to introduce more nuance and humanity to the idea, with a more three-dimensional interpretation of the girls... especially Monika and Natsuki, who have become mischaracterized by the fetish scene over the years. I feel it's a very authentic piece now that demonstrates my love of DDLC more than the original. It's silly, scary, sexy, and sentimental all at once, and features a cast I am very proud of: @AkujiSaitoVA as Monika, @shennychwan as Natsuki, and @MacStarVA as Sayori. Yuri is still being cast, and it is between @TheVoiceVixxen and a seasoned VA who wishes to remain anonymous at this time.

The script will not be included ahead of time, as I want this one to be a surprise!

Hilda

The Hilda audio should be releasing this week! As such, I will keep things short and sweet with a preview of the thumbnail. You can also read the script by downloading it via the attachments.

Isabelle

The Isabelle audio is slated for a late May release. It will feature @AkujiSaitoVA as Isabelle dealing with villager complaints while desperate to poop. Villagers include @shennychwan as Maple, @MacStarVA as Hazel, and of course Ankha, played by @LHeartVoiceOver. Feel free to read the script down below!

While I cannot show you the thumbnail yet, a fun look into the thumbnail process included figuring out how to style the villagers' bodies to show a little more curves while keeping them on-model. I encouraged Tenn try to for Version 2 - the shortest of stacks - but don't be surprised if Version 1 becomes necessary to get the point across.

That's all for now!
