End of The Year UPDATE! Exclusive New Info! (Patreon)

Hello dearest Patrons,

Right before we head into Christmas and the new year, I wanted to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for supporting our almost 8-year-old station and podcast!

These are such unique creations which first had me worrying about opening a Patreon because these are so unlike the usual things like a YouTube channel or a digital art service. I worried that I wouldn’t have proper benefits for supporters for the longest time, but thankfully that wasn’t the case.

As an end-of-the-year sendoff, I wanted to provide another update on the exciting things that’s been going on:

NEW PROTAGONIST:

You may remember me mentioning our new series, The Cage Chronicles, being added as the first True Vault Escapades spinoff/miniseries. Well much sooner than I predicted, the protagonist, Cage, was recently chosen to be voiced by Mike Tyson (who is also our most recent patron). You may remember him playing Windell Cabin in The Legend of The Star series, and Doctor Simmons in our most recent BioShock season finale.

His Mandalorian impression is so spot on, and since that’s who Cage is based off of, it doesn’t get any more perfect than that. 🙏.

FIVE SCRIPTS AND COUNTING:

Speaking of The Cage Chronicles, the miniseries now has 5/10 scripts ready to go and the story is going to be incredible!

Cage is a very strong and complex character whose past is shrouded in service and tragedy. As a former Brotherhood member gone mercenary, will be introduced to new and interesting characters in each installment, all the while an even bigger story progresses in the background. Even though this is a miniseries, the first and last episodes will be treated with much longer run times.

Even though this is a complete deviation from the Walter & Bunny story, it’s going to be taking place as the detective pair are doing their thing in New Vegas. But also, expect some wonderful surprises 😉 .

SOME STATION STUFF:

To my A-Bomb Radio listeners, I’m currently trying to work out a fix for a tedious issue that’s limiting the amount of music that’s playing in each playlist.

Streaming software is really a world I am almost 0% versed in, but have made it work for the past half decade. Now that I’m settled with the one I’m with now, things have been going swimmingly; however, my software just had an update last month and even though it’s incredible, the full amount of music I have available for playing is for some reason not being added in full to the rotation.

For transparency, this is how it works:

- Main Music Folder has 860 songs.

- I move all 860 to the Main Music Playlist.

- I click “save” (so they can all play for you).

- After the “save” is complete, only 208 songs made it through.

It’s clearly some odd glitch, but as you can probably tell, it’s annoying. So please understand if it seems like there’s only a limited amount of songs playing, that’s the reason.

I just sent out a second support ticket this morning to hopefully get this solved.

Thank you guys so much and I can’t wait for what’s to come in 2022! Have a great rest of the year!
