Howdy, partners! (And a big thanks to our latest patron, LostPause Jr. for becoming a Deat Listener today!).
Our wonderful editor, Ethan Walsh, has informed me that he’s putting on the final tweaks of the third installment of The Cage Chronicles, episode 3, “It Came From West Texas”.
Now that you all have heard episode two, I’m delighted to provide more details for Cage’s third pit stop:
The Plot: This episode will actually deviate from the initial storyline, as Cage comes across an old couple living in a west-Texas marshland (an environment caused by radiation climate-change. West Texas is actually a very sunny and dry place). Since our protagonist is a man of honor, he offers his services on their farm to earn his refuge there for a couple of nights. This would be interrupted with multiple visits by an unknown breed of “mutant” that has only appeared in the region. These creatures, or “Goblins” (as they call them) began as curious, creepy, docile beings, but randomly became hostile shortly after Cage’s visit. It’s going to be one spooky, mess up up adventure — that’s for sure!
More Details: This episode idea was inspired by a real life event that occurred in Kentucky, during the 1950’s, known as “The Kentucky Goblins”. It’s by far one of the most creepy and bizarre alien encounters of all time. I totally recommend watching the breakdown of what happened on one of my favorite channels, Bedtime Stories: https://youtu.be/A24YEOdnMvI
Hope you’re as excited as I am!
