The Donnie Difference

So just two things. First of all, I absolutely love the show! A-bomb radio app or no, love the show keep doing what you’re doing! If I were a wealthy man, I would personally fund you, the voice cast, and production crew to do this show full time. Second, and this is purely out of speculation from observation, but the addition of fallout 76 content.. now I’m sure you’re aware of how many fallout fans feel about 76 and I assure you I’m very much indifferent. However, I am familiar with robots radio and the fallout lorecast, and I really want to know if the addition of 76 and mothman is still 100% your idea or if this was influenced but the robots radio overlord Tom or “Robots”, who is clearly very much into all things fallout 76? Lol

Thanks Donnie, and no - I assure you, this is 100% my idea. If there were any reduction of creative freedom by joining Robots, I wouldn’t have joined. The Mothman is personally a cryptid I love, so I wanted to take the opportunity to throw it into the show. 76 luckily has the backing of some lore that I’m using to power the reason as to why it’s there in the first place. There’s references to West Virginia — that’s really it 🙂

I think including more content from other Fallout titles is great! Even if you’re changing the story up a bit to fit your locations, I like pulling in bits of the other games.

Never thought it wasn’t a good idea I just had to ask. They really do seem to favor 76 over there at times lol. Mothman really is a interesting cryptid in general real world cryptozoology. The fact that he’s got ties to Fallout just makes it that much better.

Yeah, 76 birthed a new generation of fans, which I appreciate. I haven’t touched the game in quite some time, but I definitely plan on trying again when I get a next-gen. The Cryptozoology was definitely my favorite aspect of the game, though: I always loved that stuff 😁

Thanks, Dawn!! I think only in the past I’ve made slight references/Easter eggs to the other games, but it should be fun hearing a bigger aspect of the other titles make an appearance 😃
