For the U.S., maybe a mutant Puma or a mutated hawk or eagle. I feel like flying insects get all the attention like the cazador and bloat fly. Or a mutant porcupine with exploding quills. Especially if you can throw it like a furry little grenade. Finally, in honor of Monty Python, a deadly mutated killer rabbit.
