Weight gain tropes (Patreon)

Just curious, what are some of your favorite female weight gain tropes?

It could be a whole theme for a story, and one-off scene, or even just an idea.

For instance, it's pretty obvious one of mine is a woman secretly fattening another woman. Another one is when she visits a relative's house for a party and is made fun of for how fat she has gotten, but also is fed more and more food. (Similar to Ifap C05p04 and the In for a Penny scene from hadoukenchips as well.)

Anyway, just throwing it out there and was genuinely curious. I might even put some in one of my comics if I find any I relate to.

I love revenge and role reversal. I love when the mean “hot” girl whose made fun of fat girls gets fat and made fun of. I love the idea of weight gain being a punishment. And I also love the prissy princess type becoming a fat slob.

I've got a few! - fat being "contagious", where a skinny friend slowly porks out just by being around the main character. Extra points if the main character teases them for it. - personality changing due to her weight and new habits. Sure, an athlete becoming lazy is one thing, but characters developing different traits due to the circumstance of their gains is always fun! - folks getting pampered into obesity by an overbearing character (think a mom, an aunt, or just a pushy friend!) that helps facilitate tropes one and two.

I'm with KCDFan01. Don't enjoy it as-much when it saddens or bothers the feedee. Prefer that she enjoys the gain, appreciates it, and becomes empowered and more confident by it.

Ufffff, that's so hard... I like so many troupes and ideas, but I think my favorite one is girls being secretly fattened up or having her diet be sabotaged. And also fat girl friend says she wants to lose weight, skinny and gym rat friend says she can help, but instead of losing weight, the bad habits of the fat girl brush off on the other, causing both of them to fatten up more. The once fit girl still in denial until she eventually becomes fatter than her fat friend, despite her still packing on pounds

I love when the feeder is attempting to secretly fatten her friend, and she gains by proximity/ to maintain the ruse. I also love competitive gaining- something like trying to steal an FA boyfriend.

Implants Only

Absolute favorite is where the gain is exclusive to hips, butt and thighs - to enamor a big butt enthusiast that would otherwise be uninterested in her. Extra points for her extreme efforts to further radicalize her DIS-proportion through plastic surgery including multiple BBL's and butt/thigh implants. I would pay dearly for such a commission where her face, neck, arms, and tummy still say slim. (I was the commissioner of "Addicted to Curves" by Jolene Dubois)

I love weight swaps. Super hot girl and hefty girl basically just swap roles and they see how they have basically become one another due to their own actions. The hardworking former fatty taking glee in the once thin and trim girl now a fat ass dealing with her new situation jealous of the now slim girl.

The girlfriend gets dumped because her boyfriend is into fat girls so she gets fat but her friends try to get her boyfriend too so they get fat as well, or maybe a bbw modeling gig but the model is too skinny

Aftermath

I'm a big fan of the girl having overconfidence in her body/metabolism and showing it off to others, only to have it eventually break and they start gaining while unaware. The ones that spring to mind are hadoukenchips' first few Sizeable Sisters pages and pretty much all of November's "Michelle's Rite of Passage" story on curvage. MTO is hitting very close to this, so it's been really enjoyable.

office weight gain or teacher weight gain. something like a sedentary job that keeps the main character from being their once athletic/trim self - personally.

For me, the progress of them getting bigger is always worth considering when depicting weight gain. The last you see them, they have a tummy; the next time, in a few months, they have grown much bigger all over, and not just their abdomen: then finally, after other months, they are massive and have a slight waddle when they're walking.

I would love to see a continued run of Erin weight gain were her friend is jelios of her boyfriend and purposely try's to fatten her up so she can steal her boyfriend. It was when you did a collaboration on Lilly of the valley and we never got to see Erin get really big. that would be nice comic to go back and see that story line.

Wendy was one of my favorites a very confident supermodel with a super metabolism but finds out it has a limit. I have a thing for overconfident/cocky women or beings who simply aren't supposed to gain weight or get fat, but slowly ends up finding out that they actually can get fat or have some kind of limit to their superiority. For example Greek gods and goddesses are supposed to always be in peak condition they can't get fat but perhaps there's a limitation of some sort in these higher powered metabolism, or digital ai holograms or robots that are programmed to be skinny somehow mimic human metabolism by accident and can't reverse it.

-Fit to fat, where the athletic girl becomes so fat that she needs to rely on mobility aids like a scooter. -Where a girl's face becomes so bloated and chunky that her eyes get pushed into a squint, which makes her unrecognizable to her former popular friends and relatives she's not seen in a while. -Preppy princess to sloppy pig.

Love the trope of the main female character being used to getting what she wants, very spoiled, never had to work for anything including maintaining her figure. Her partying lifestyle leads to lots of overindulgence that has an impact on her figure causing her to gain weight. She has instances where her increasing weight causes her to have wardrobe malfunctions, get stuck in chairs, break furniture, bump into things or people, and get denied for rides at amusement parks due to weight limits. She used to get with anybody but after gaining weight gives someone else thats had their eye on her to finally have the chance to date her, deal with her attitude at first but eventually maybe change her outlook on life or not. Can have a good/neutral/bad ending.

I like supernatural gains. Where there’s a some other worldly object or influence that causes the decent into gluttony. Bonus points if the subject is aware and reluctant to gain but gradually gives into the temptation.

Guess it's kind of a backdrop to almost every WG story, but a once restrained and modest appetite that becomes ravenous and so out of control that it overpowers any desire to stop or even slow the gain, descending into total gluttony. Never gets old.

That is a good question. In my case it is very simple, I like to see how a woman who was always thin, put some sircuntansia I began to gain weight, but hey, you have already made a comic. I also like how a thin woman gains weight little by little, instead of her starting I feel a bit fat already. and finally to the most fanciful, that he gains weight from some object or food, for example, if he puts on a ring, shirt or belt, he increases his appetite, if he eats a specific food he gains more weight in a specific part of his body. And well, I think that would be one of my favorites.

Oh... And I also love the scenario where beautiful, model-like girl becomes determined to put on weight to get the attention of a really hot guy she has her sights on. This guy only loves fat women and she's invisible to him when she's skinny. Icing in the cake would be this girl sets a goal weight, then can't stop, eventually eating uncontrollably and becomes way fatter than the plan. Come to think if it, anything where obesity becomes an ideal or goal is super hot.

Some of mine include gluttonous hog, in denial, fat dominate, hedonism. Kind of like how I play my Fat Matilda save in ck3…I’m sorry Matilda of Tuscany for what I’ve done to you in that game

Personally I really like it when they are in denial about the gain. Still wearing the same revealing clothing but ignoring or finding excuses why they are getting tighter.

Accidental mutual weight gain - where one person is gaining and others get dragged along as collateral damage (even better if they then end up bigger)

Dang, I didn't except so many responses! From what I can tell my comics tend to hit a good chunk of your wanted themes at some point or another, which makes me pretty happy to hear.

My favorite tropes are: The unintentional role reversal - a chubby/obese woman starts losing weight, while her fit girlfriend starts gaining weight, and by the end of the story, they've reversed sizes. The bad habit friend/roommate - a fit woman starts hanging out with a fat friend/roommate and starts eating like her, exercising less, and gaining weight. Weight loss competition gone wrong - two rivals or friends have a weight loss competition, but then they either sabotage each other or the loser gets fattened up even more by the winner (bonus points if this awakens a preference or fetish for liking weight gain and fattening in one or both of the women). The time traveler - a fat woman tries to prevent her younger self from getting fat in the first place, but actually ends up making herself fatter in the present/future.

Oh man, that's a tough one. I like when the gainer is a bimbo, like she starts off as this skinny curvy ditz. I like girls getting stuck after a stuffing or having wardrobe malfunctions like button pops and seams ripping. Also quite partial to sneak stuffing, like a girl eating food she's not supposed to and trying not to get caught. I'm a sucker for any scenario inspired by Winnie the Pooh getting stuck or Augustus Gloop cause I'm fairly certain watching those as a kid are what made me be into this (ironically both featuring male characters but I'm not into male feedees at all lol)

My ideal hypothetical scenario would be having a girl gain weight and being told by her family and friends and others that she's getting really fat, but then she stops gaining, maintains her weight but all the people around her shaming her start to get even fatter, and they're also oblivious to it as well, they'll still be making fun of her for being fat when they're twice as big

Gain focussed in the breasts ;) But more seriously, my favorites of yours are Wendy and MTO, so a pretty face makes a big difference. I like an oblivious stuffer and the tension created by watching their slide into acceptance. I also like a subtle feeder/enabler like Wendy's servants or Scarlett's friend Mandy, as long as it doesn't end with too much pathos.
