Someone who has lived with ADHD her entire life this was very comforting no one understanding you're still you..just working overdrive. This was needed

I’ve lived with ADD all my life. To be honest, it’s a struggle to feel the mind going in 500 directions at once and you really wear yourself out making things focus. But as an adult? Yes, I struggle with jobs and still have moments of being impulsive. But I refuse to let it define me. Having a supportive ring around you can do wonders. I’m grateful for mine and I hope you all have one as well.

I’ve had ADD my whole life and to have an audio on this topic, it makes me feel like an actual human being. When I look at the pills I have to take every morning, I feel less and less human and I hate it. Also struggling with self hate and not thinking I’m beautiful, it gets harder and harder everyday.

My parents always get pissy at me for not remembering things and pushing me to put reminders into my phone or calendar. It’s like they forget that I’m different and it makes me feel alone.
