Hey everyone! 😊

I’m naturally curious, and I really want to understand what you, my amazing community, think! Sometimes I get feedback from supporters who end their membership, and here are the most common reasons I see:

Amaz2k12 wasn’t as active as I expected

I didn’t like the benefits/rewards that I received from Amaz2k12

Unfortunately, Patreon doesn't tell me who leaves this feedback, so I can’t follow up personally. I rarely receive direct messages either, which makes it hard for me to know what to improve. That's why I’m asking you!

What Do You Think? šŸ¤”

Do you feel I’m not active enough? If so, what type of content or activity would you like to see more of?

Do you enjoy the benefits I offer? If not, what perks would make supporting me more valuable?

My Perspective šŸ‘‡

šŸ’Ŗ I feel very active: I upload content almost daily, working non-stop to bring you the best. My three computers run 24/7 to make this possible. I’m considering a fourth machine, but due to uncertainties with Patreon this year, I’m hesitant to make such a big investment (€6,000).

āš–ļø I have to follow legal rules: This includes Germany's regulations (taxes), Patreon’s guidelines (NSFW), and US laws (taxes). This limits the kind of content I can share - even if I want to create something edgier, my hands are tied. And I'm not exaggerating here: there are countless artists whose Patreon pages have been shut down without warning or the chance to appeal in 2024. That's why I have to be extra cautious to ensure my content stays within Patreon’s rules - losing this platform would have severe consequences for me as a creator, and for all of you who enjoy my work.

šŸ“„ I offer multiple download options beyond Patreon to give you flexibility.

šŸ’¬ I encourage interaction, but engagement from you has been minimal. Meanwhile, I support other artists who don’t interact at all, yet they receive loads of likes and comments as soon as they post - quite the opposite experience.

šŸ—Øļø I run a Discord server, but it’s only being used by a small number of members. I’d love to see more of you there!

How Can I Improve? šŸ“

I’d love to hear from you! Your feedback is important to me, and it helps me grow as a creator. Let me know what I can do better, what you’d like to see more of, and how I can make this space more engaging and fun for you! 😊

Thank you so much for being here and for your ongoing support! šŸ’–

I think what you’re doing is just fine, I couldn’t ask for more šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ„°

Content level good . Instead of negative reinforcement, I would rather tell you what I really enjoy and chomp at the bit for... The Curse of Chad is soo much fun that I literally stay way past decent hours hoping for a post on. I enjoy your archive for exploration of older works. If I have any complaint would be a bit more length on some of the older pieces. (Really a compliment if you think about it). Lastly I like your storytelling. It weaves nicely.

I’m not active on these posts due to anything you have done, I can assure you. I’m just not active on any of the Patreons I’m apart of. I’m not sure about other people, but always remember that other people’s actions (and inactions) aren’t necessarily based on your actions.

Basilisk

i feel opposite to the feedback you received, i think you post quite often and i'm more than happy with the rewards for the tiers. all i can say is keep up the great work!

Douglas C. Fowler

One extra thought if not too me, me, in nature: If Curse of Chad is a short story as it appears, then perhaps Curse part 2 where Chad realizes through therapy that running away solves nothing and decides to embrace it as a gift with his new happily giving girlfriends and faithful workout buddy to keep in shape. Happily ever after. (Now stepping off soapbox I promise). Thanks for your reading and your content.

Same here. I'm quite happy with everything. enough content and with you having a buffer the output is also pretty steady. Download and pdf options that are quite nice. Because some artists just make a pdf in the end with your way its easier to read some parts of the story again. So on that part for me there is not really anything you could improve. I personally also had to stop supporting some artists pure based on the current financial times. (hrt is expensive) But without a way to follow up in it its hard to know why they did go. With being not that active. I actually don't have a real explanation for it. But I also see that I do this and not really participate in the comment section etc.

Amaz2k12

Yes, I totally agree with you. HRT isn't exactly cheap. But I hope it brings you the results you’re aiming for, Sann! šŸ’ŖāœØ Thanks so much for your comment!

Amaz2k12

Yes, what do you think makes it possible for me to produce this level of output with such high-quality images each week? šŸ¤” I have one computer dedicated solely to rendering, while I use a second computer to create the scenes, which I then transfer to the rendering machine. On this second computer, I also use Photoshop to edit individual images into comic pages, sequences, or other formats. The third computer, a laptop, is my command center for everything else—writing, text formatting, Patreon management, legal compliance with U.S. and German regulations, Patreon rules, bookkeeping, and more. šŸ“ššŸ’»

Sadly, the only direct feedback you get with Patreon is when people are cancelling, so it is almost always negative. Generally, if your membership numbers are going up, you are doing things right. I dont say things cause I am well satisfied with what you put out.

Amaz2k12

I'm glad to hear that Jon, thank you :)

Amaz2k12

Thank you! 😊 Yes, that's exactly where the current mini-series is heading! šŸ“šāœØ

Mr. Phoenyxx

I feel similarly to you, Amaz. :) But this isn't about me. I think you post incredibly frequently, and the quality of your stuff is top notch. I wish I knew the secret to getting more engagement, but I am at a loss too. lol

SitriAbyss

You work with 3 PC's? Holy hell :O Also, i'm perfectly pleased with your content and work pace.

Amaz2k12

Thank you, Phoeny! 😊 Yes, more engagement is always appreciated—it's never fun to be left in the dark. But right now, my main focus is understanding the feedback from the Patreon surveys a bit better! šŸ”āœØ

Amaz2k12

Thank you so much, Sitri! šŸ™ Even with three PCs running nonstop, I sometimes feel like I’m barely keeping up with the pace of content creation

Cookiecat123456

You're welcome. Please keep up the great work.

SitriAbyss

Well, I work with a single 6 years old PC. I don't even know whatwould I do with 3 XD

AaronCS

I know its not specifically you, but I was wondering why content on kemono.su stopped showing up. I assume it was something to do with the website and not a personal decision?

Amaz2k12

Well, Radagon, I've never uploaded anything there nor given my permission for it. All the content you find there is scraped from Patreon and other sites, then uploaded and distributed without permission. This is art theft and a copyright violation. Artistic work deserves respect, and unauthorized sharing not only violates the rights Artists but undermines the effort and dedication Artists put into creating it. Thank you for understanding and supporting original content! šŸ’ŖšŸŽØ

Amaz2k12

Oh, I had the same thoughts once ;)

TJ Westfall

Hey I know that you are doing what you can and it's hard sometimes to keep writing so I understand and want you to do what you've been doing to put your best work oout there. I believe you are doing a great job

AaronCS

Oh I see, I feel that website was really deceptive then because has posts in a way that looked like the actual authors wrote them. Apologies for the lack of understanding.

Amaz2k12

No problem! :) That’s exactly what scrapping a site does. It creates a 1-to-1 replica, including all content. You can tell because it doesn’t just display my work and links but also includes comments from supporters.

Imperv

Im happy with you content for me its just my financial situation have been very unpredictable the last 4 months so i have been coming and going

Amaz2k12

That’s understandable, Imperv. I hope your situation improves soon and wish you all the best. :)

friendlytraveler

so ill admit, the big reason i left as long as i did, was because you gave up on the game...kinda hope you'll revisit it one day.

Amaz2k12

Thank you! Yes, I can share some insights on this: My game "Bimboville" is still a dream project I’d love to bring to life. I haven’t deleted the data, but there are several reasons why I’m not actively developing it right now: Time Constraints Working on my ongoing comics and single-image creations takes up a significant portion of my time. To consistently upload the level of content I aim for each week, I work 10–12 hours daily, including weekends and holidays. Knowledge Gaps While RPG Maker games may seem simple on the surface, they’re more complex under the hood, requiring a fair amount of coding. Since I don’t come from a programming background (my coding experience dates back to the 80s), writing and developing the necessary game logic was extremely time-consuming. Unfortunately, when I asked if any of my supporters were programmers who could collaborate with me, I didn’t find anyone. A partnership in this area would have been ideal to help bring the project to fruition. RPG Maker Limitations My vision included animated sequences within the game. However, I discovered that RPG Maker only supports a limited number of GIFs, making this aspect difficult—if not impossible—to achieve. While I’ve made some progress in this area since then, there’s still work to be done. RPG Maker Issues I’m committed to delivering high-quality work to my Patreon supporters, whether that’s single images, sequences, or comics. The game is no exception. However, during development, I encountered persistent issues. For example, adding simple plugins for quality-of-life improvements often overwrote or broke existing code, leading to constant crashes, even in basic gameplay sequences. At some point, it became too overwhelming, so I decided to pause the project—not cancel it entirely—until I either: a) Build up more knowledge and skills, or b) Find someone willing to collaborate with me to bring the game to life. So far, neither has happened.
