Hey folks,

Unfortunately, I have to cancel next week’s uploads because of a hardware failure.

Earlier today, the drive containing the current render outputs, the working files for the upcoming releases and my old raw files died after seven years of service. Thankfully, my finished images, project files, and DAZ/Blender source files are all backed up on separate drives, so the core material is safe.

However, the prepared render outputs for the next uploads were on that drive, which means they now have to be re-rendered and partially reworked.

I’m really sorry about the delay. My machines run 24/7 under heavy load, so I guess this was bound to happen sooner or later.

A replacement drive has already been ordered and should arrive tomorrow — hopefully.Thank you for your patience and support.

Mr. Phoenyxx

OK, you and Sitri are making me nervous! Hope all is well!

Damn, I'm so sorry to hear this :(

Thanks, my friend. Life goes on, and the work has to be done again.

Amaz2k12

Yeah, unfortunately that happens regardless of the creator. But it also shows how incredibly active and creative those people are.

Hey Phoeny - Sitri and I got hit with the HD issue, and for you it’s your arm acting up. Looks like you were the first one in our trio to get taken out.

I am sorry to hear as well. Few things are more frustrating than loosing completed work.

Mr. Phoenyxx

You make an excellent point. I was worried my HDD was next! :P Anyway, I hope that we all get better soon! :)

Sorry again that it happened to you I know it's frustrating I guess with the summer coming in the unexpected heat (Not sure how it is for you) everything's adjusting

Amaz2k12

Thanks Douglas. It’s mostly just frustrating. But tech fails from time to time. The new hard drive already arrived and I’ve installed it - it’s formatting right now, and the render projects are already queued up and running.

Sorry to hear that happened, at least the stuff you've already done is saved.
