Full Time (Patreon)

Hello Patrons,

As you might have heard on Twitter or in my recent videos, as of July 2nd, I am now doing Step Back as my full-time job. This September, the channel turns 4 years old and I have tried for a few days to articulate what I wanted to tell you all about this big step in my life and I have been at a bit of a loss.

I cannot express how deep my gratitude is for all of your support. Because of your pledges, not only am I able to make this thing which occupied my evenings and weekends my main job, but in a way which doesn't compromise on the desire to making the content I want to make and which I feel are important for countering reactionary abuses of the past and increasing historical literacy. So from the deepest part of my heart, thank you all so so so much.

What this means if my content is going to be getting better from here on out. I am going to be at vidcon next week (hope to see a few of you there) and life will change quite a bit after I get home from that. Not only will videos get better, (I have another interview with a historian lines up near the end of the month) but there will be a few new projects including a European friendly stream on Mondays, and maybe even a podcast. More on that as it develops. I also hope to finally write a fun history book I've been talking about since before I even started Step Back that you guys will definitely like!

So, hold tight, and I hope you get excited for all the stuff coming down the pike.
