This book is a really fun and yet disturbing read, and no it isn't the book about ballet. Taleb looks at events that were somehow impossible to predict, but retroactively seem inevitable. The book looks at human cognition and how our overreliance on narrative and pecedent causes us to make assumptions that do not work out. We have a hard time understanding the mechanisms of complex systems, and when their positive and negative feedback loops. However, I'd skip the part about him complaining about how he doesn't have a Nobel prize.
