Patron Weekly Update 2022-08-05 (Patreon)

Hey friends!

This week the machine put together kept chugging along with good productivity and work-life balance. We got a new video out which is performing pretty well. In the wake of that release I decided that now was the time to really bite down and finish this Russia video. I am writing this in a library about to finish the last little bit of the script, which will likely finish out close to 10,000 words; more than double the previous record holder for longest script.

It's wild. What started as a brief history of Russia has turned into an epic tale of Russia's post-soviet string of crises, the reasons for the war in Ukraine, and the dangers of revanchism. I'll be very interested to see how it goes down with people. The hope is to finish it later this month before then shifting gears to two September videos coming out within a few days of each other because of important dates.

Thanks so much for making another week of this amazing job possible, and I hope to have new stuff for you soon!
