Weekly Patron Update 2022-08-12 (Patreon)

Good afternoon patrons!

Big milestone, the Russia video script is finally written and now I spend my time plussing it up and amoothing it out. My tentative release date is August 29th, but I am hoping to get it to you guys by the 22nd. I decided when working on it that this 10,000 word monstrosity was either going to be a history video that veers for a long time into modern events, or a modern events video that spends way to much time getting to the important part. So, I made the tough call and am splitting this Russia video to make sure I can tell both stories well. Part one is the one I'm working on, focused on the collapse of the USSR, and the chaos of Russia's fallout from that collapse. It ends with Boris Yeltsin's resignation, and the rise of Putin to power. Part 2 will be about Putin's Russia, and the story leading to the invasion of Ukraine and will be coming out in early October.

This week also has some other news I will unfortunately have to sit on for the moment, but once I am ready to say, I think you guys will be happy!

Thanks so much for making this week possible, and for keeping me and my family going at this time. Expect to hear more from me soon!
