TVlog (Patreon)

I know this isn't a vlog, and there hasn't been one in a while. My laptop is currently in the shop, so no webcam at the moment. I wanted to talk about a possible upcoming turning point in the channel and find what you guys think.

I currently make videos one at a time and release them more or less as soon as they're done. In my mind, when I finish a video, I want it to be in front of my subscribers' eyeballs as soon as possible. However, as we saw, in hard times this leads to gaps in content when my life gets hectic.

I have one video in production right now, then I will need to take 2 weeks off of video making to write my comprehensive exams (yes it takes 2 weeks to write). This means that there will be another 2-3 week gap, but the video I am working on now may release in the middle of that to at least spread out the love.

I want to know what you guys think about me making a video, and sitting on it so that there is a smaller gap between releases on either end. I also am considering changing my production schedule to do more batch researching/scriptwriting/animating etc. It would result in more regular content, but it does mean I'd have perfectly finished videos just sitting there waiting for the right time to release. What do you guys think?
