Dwarven King's Sarcophagus (Patreon)

Dwarves are known for their expert artisan skills, and they honor their greatest leaders like no other race. Today, OpenForge brings you a richly-decorated Dwarven sarcophagus to honor a fallen king.

The sarcophagus outside and lid are decorated with Dwarven hammers and symbols of their people, with runic knotwork. An optional insert contains the plate-armor-adorned, axe-wielding, skeletal remains of a long-dead king.

This model is designed to show great detail even with a .4mm FDM nozzle, and prints in 3 parts. The bottom requires no supports. The lid requires a few small supports touching the build plate. The insert can be printed support-less in the included orientation, or for more detail you can rotate it upright and print with support (so the details print vertically).
