I have no words for this except "bruh" 💀 congrats on the extra income

I have a feeling a large majority of people were so worried something malicious would occur that 5 bucks was a small price to pay to see the very nice conclusion

I think we should keep the Office Girl comics SFW - just my two cents 🙇. But definitely keep the baiting shtick that’s so iconic to the series 😉 ❤️ People do need to chill out when they’re saying that it’s going down the NTR route because I’ve been around for the majority of the time since this comic was niche and it’s definitely just rom-com bait & switch. That cover art really got peeps nervous tho 😅 I’m glad that you’re open to future content and I definitely want to see where the discussion leads. I think doing another forum or post will alleviate some folks concerns. There is the risk of peeps leaving the paid subscription if they thought you were going to do hentai/NTR for the series.

Faris Jaber

Yeah I was worried that one of my fav series is about to be a ntr one but thank god it was just a bait

BobTM

Yes yes YES! CONGRATULATIONS!

I feel the same way. I hope they stay for the rom-com elements especially the dad jokes.

I think he was pretty clear that the series was SFW from the start. He doesn’t do NTR/Hentai content except for like NSFW comic commissions but those are so rare.

I have no plans on doing NTR H versions Working Girls Weekly or Working Girls Monthly or any of my other titles. The NTR in Chapter 6 was meant to poke fun at the NTR scene as its a currently popular trope. However, issues of cheating, relationship infidelities, MIGHT be touched upon in the story in the future as it is a Universal social fact of life. But for the record, there is 0% possibility of a straight up hentai versions of my IPs. At least, not being written/illustrated by me.

The $5 was a small price to pay for the relief of knowing that Itoya wasn't cucked.

That’s good to hear! Thank for announcing that 😭 👍!!! I swear PEOPLE will always try to push trends that some folk don’t like. Thank you for setting the record straight 🫡

Gosh I hope you’re right that it was overly curious fans deciding to see what Chapter 6 was about and not an actual small army of NTR Enjoyers looking to corrupt an artist into doing NTR stuff. Hahaha

studionice2011

Ok, so lets decide: Sexy (SFW) Monthly Illustrations of my OCs are cool. Yes or No?

>>151365948

Nah, even in the twitter post announcement a lotta people were more so worried about it becoming NTR rather than encouraging it. Making it a particularly effective bait and switch really. Now you keep up that wonderful SFW goodness

Anthony

Ngl, I paid to find out if the NTR route WASN'T canon 🤣

Anthony

meh, I was planning on upgrading from free to paid for a while anyways so it was a good excuse 🤣

To be honest this kind of sucks. I'm not the biggest supporter, only a few bucks a month for half a year, but the way you lashed out at any critism of the clickbait just feels bad. Edit: like sure clickbait may help you sell once or twice, but upsetting your fan base can only work so many times before they start to leave.

studionice2011
>>151390163

I dont take kindly on your accusations about these “lashing” I merely clapped back at the shade in the same energy and manner in which they were given. I would respectfully inform you that your opinions are thoughtfully received and I would like to respectfully inform you that I desire to give zero fucks about the feelings of those who have already formed any prejudiced opinions about me and my work. Thank you for your support and I wish you all the best.

You may of respo.ded on the same level on some comments, but definitely not the ones I saw. Even this, I am not attacking you, I am saying this because I like your work.

MitchelJ

Would it actually be considered NTR if they weren’t a couple yet? Only the author/artist knows and up to the fanbase to interpret it. For me, your bait worked wonderfully cause I enjoyed the rollercoaster of emotions from reading a fictional story on the internet.

To others, they find it straight up scummy. To some, they regard it a stroke of Marketing Genius. Am I a Charlatan? Am I a Master Baiter? I'll let the weeb historians decide.

studionice2011
>>151390163

I only give back the same energy Im given and to some with interest. If you find that problematic. I'm afraid I cannot help you further. Make your decision, can you rock with it or not? Otherwise, we can just agree to disagree on how I handle people throwing shade at me. Thank you for your support, however, if you continue to press me on this, I want to respectfully remind you that Patreon has a great refund system if you find issues with the site.

CSDX

I am very uncomfortable about the potential direction the story will go cause of people that, for whatever goddamn reason, like NTR.

studionice2011
>>151436556

This changes nothing. You know why? Coz after reviewing Patreon stats, it turns out, majority of the new Supporters are from our beloved Free Members and Super Supporter Tiers who upgraded their membership. Either way, I've spoken firmly about my stance on NTR. Its an off limits route for WGM or any of my existing and future OCs.

I'm so glad I was worrying over nothing. Thank you for the confirmation.

Bro if it works for you then whatever. Just be careful your marketing doesn't come back to bite you later. You're an adult who can make your own decisions.

studionice2011
>>151390163

Thank you very much and I appreciate your genuine concern and kind words. I take all your opinions on how I should run things very seriously.

studionice2011
>>151365859

All I did was do my usual “x is now uploaded” and just let a couple of panels speak for themselves. People formed their own opinions based on what they saw and knew atm. Some thought it was a deliberate move and call it a marketing genius. Others are angry accusing me of engaging in clickbait. As always, Im too tired and too overworked to care what people think.

Dnisify
>>151365859

Understandable 👍🏼 take care of yourself though, overworked doesn't sound good 😔
