Patreon Update: Revised Monthly Goals and a Necessary Adjustment (Patreon)

Dear patrons,

I’m writing today to announce an important update to the Monthly Goals and Rewards for this Patreon.

As many of you know, I’ve handled every aspect of Studio NICE alone from writing, illustrating, to promotion and outreach. While I’ve tried to maintain an ambitious release schedule, I now have to acknowledge what I’ve quietly resisted for too long: the previous goals were never sustainable. They demanded too much than I what could realistically give. And over the years, the toll has accumulated quietly, persistently, and with growing consequence.

It has become clear that continuing to push myself at that level; two weekly manga pages, 10-12 pages of Working Girls Monthly, plus 20+ pages of outside work each month, is no longer viable without worsening what has already become a slow but steady decline.

Moving forward, I am updating the monthly funding goal to $2,000 USD. If this is reached, I will work hard to deliver the following:

10-12 pages of Working Girls Monthly

One fully colorized illustration per month

Continued unlocking of Working Girls Monthly chapters for the $2 Weekly Comics Backer Tier (with a two-chapter delay compared to the $5, $10 and $100 Monthly Comics Backer Tiers)

Our current Monthly Support is at $1870 as of the writing of this announcement.

This is not a decision made lightly, nor is it a step back from my dedication. I remain committed to drawing these stories for as long as I am able, even if it’s in a managed glide down rather than the frantic climb I once insisted on. I can no longer afford the illusion of unlimited time or energy.
