Gonna keep some of the points for the Hexcrawl legend a little more loosey-goosey, hopefully the dungeon tools and settlement generator should give new GMs everything they need for on-the-fly generating.

Plus it means the back of the book is full of fun artwork.

Wait... if the currency of the world is jade then where did the gold come from? The previous worlds? Or am I missing a lore thing?

LeviathanTamer

Wizards figured out how to transmute metal to other metal, and almost immediately wizards were kidnapped to make the dragons some palaces of gold.

Blood Raven

I'm reminded of Orconomics, where as soon as alchemy made gold from lead, the imperial wizards were put to death, too late, as the secret of transmutation had spread and there was a global recession only solved by the invention of fiat currency.

Jordan Marsh

Ahhh right right I gotcha haha. But so, to an adventurer, is all that gold effectively worthless then?

Vice & Violence

Gold's still useful for jewellery as it can be poured into moulds, but it's about the same value as copper, for the same reason. Basically an adventurer could steal a bunch of dragon gold and trade it in for jade.

Jordan Marsh

Oh cool! That makes a lot sense, thanks man!

Twelveseal

Finally got the chance to look at these and was not disappointed. Nice~

Vortex_Dragon

I do love the tables for these situations, even for a veteran dm the inspiration from the table rolls help Kickstart campaign arcs and plots to use than starting from nothing!!

Is the ritual circle drawn in chalk or in blood?
