The Hufnwulf is an exceptionally aggressive fae, drawn to poorly constructed domiciles and women wearing red. It’s noted for its big eyes, incredible lung capacity, and the ability to mimic and repeat simple phrases.

Man of madness

Terrifying

Jack Nox

I hope shotguns exist in this world cuz I wouldn't wanna get any closer than I need to in order to huff and puff and blow that things face off

Jordan Marsh

Ayooo this reminds me of the bear from Annihilation but a twisted fairy tale version. Well fuckin done fam 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Twelveseal

Ooooh, I like this. Good horror movie vibes from mixing fairy tales. I feel like this is the sort of critter where the face looks human RIGHT up until it goes to bite you... at which point the mouth opens wider than the thing's "face," all full of sharp teeth (all the better to eat you with, my dear), so it can swallow people whole like in the versions where the woodcutter slits it open to rescue the grandma. Giving it some kind of powerful breath attack works great, and you know it's gotta be hiding some kind of huge ears that can flare up the second someone makes a sound.

RazortheSpectrickster

Oh man this is the kind of monsters and creatures and moments i live forrrrr

Parker Lee

I absolutely love how goofy of a setting this is at times yet has some truly creepy horror shit going on as well an absolutely wonderful combination

Nedzilla

The Big Bad Wolf, twisted into a creature that could really fool a child on their way to Grandma's house. I like how it has the story relevant features of both Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Pigs yet has it stretched across this eldrich/fae/yokai frame. Terrifying. I simply MUST meet one.

Twelveseal

By "breath attack" I mean, like, it's a blast of air that deals damage and pushes you back a zone or two (possibly knocking you flat on a failed Moxie or Brawn Check). It probably deals bonus damage to structures so it can literally cave your hiding places in on you and trap you. Might even be a factor in why it haunts dilapidated buildings; it likes to corner groups in enclosed spaces and bury them alive so it can pick them out of the debris one at a time.

Twelveseal

Some kind of Dwarven Blunderbuss(y), you say?

xMakka

Your take on fairytales beats so much ass! (interpret phrasing how you will)

Killrain42

Damn. Spooky's extended family gets weird the further out you get, huh?

Yrvum

I really like the hands as feet :D and the "dead inside"

SilverFangBlackWing

With all the goofy horny art I sometimes forget you can make some real nightmare fuel.

Kevin Wright

Repeat simple phrases... like "little pig, little pig, let me in..."

Unseelie23

The"bear" thing in Annihilation... It was when they met that, that I decided that the zone was basically the faewild. I mean, yes, it's Lovecraft's Colour Out of Space as a Delta Green game, but it's still the faewild. This has the same vibes.
