Lemme know if this little gambling game makes sense to you guys. Trying to make craps for Discord, basically.

Pasta

This a really simple gambling game that would be fun to introduce in games

Dreaming Justiciar

Gambling games make perfect sense for the setting. Honestly, I think you should come up with more, feels like a great way to settle disputes, bargain for money, win sexual pleasure, or for the idiot gods to decide what domains they get control over!

I'm assuming the second 11 should be a 10? For 50% of the pot

Drivestort

Do I know how craps works now? I don't believe you.

Pyatec

I love the idea, but for the 50% pot I think the 11 is supposed to be a 10

Skeleboners

Couple minor things. First, "players take it turns", I'm assuming "it" isn't intended to be there. Also I'm used to the "xd6" notation meaning you'd roll that number of dice and take the result as the number (in this case, the number of required dice, meaning you could end up with between 2 and 12 dice), whereas the intent seems to be for you to always have two d6s. That may be correct wording there and I'm just stupid tho.

NunTooHoly

Makes sense to me and sounds pretty fun honestly.

Finally, a gambling game in a TTRPG that has exact parity to how the players will play it and makes sense in game.

Switching "2,3,11,13" and "6,8" would probably work better. Make winning 100% of the pot less likely, otherwise why pick the rare number if it gets you only 1/4 the pot. Might as go for one of the 4 numbers that can win 100%, if you have only 4 callers you all have a chance to win all of it unless the roller gets 7. But if only 2 numbers come up as winning 100% of the pot it makes them less attractive because you and someone else pick both the same numbers then you split the 100% of the pot. Picking one of the 4 numbers at 50% you get 50% of the pot and the pot still has its 50% instead restarting from scratch. Playing the long game instead of risking to 100%.

AFrickinDwarf

That would work if all the numbers had an equal likelihood of being rolled. You have a 5 in 36 chance of rolling 6 on 2d6 while you have a 1 in 36 chance of rolling a 2 or 12 (or a 2 in 36 chance of rolling a 3 or 11). So higher risk should mean higher reward

Exile

A good point. I did not consider that.
