Says that people took male giants teeth and other stuff as trophies. Some folks probably ate some or when bathed in giant fluids to try and become immortal but instead just got intertwined with giants like they were a natural descendant. Kinda like eating mermaid flesh in some stories you become immortal or gain longevity but have various side effects.
