Happy New Years (Patreon)

Here's to the end of 2025! It's been a wild year. At this point last year, I was just stepping into what's now Book 2, and now Book 5's begun for Adventurer-tier supporters. Book 1 and book 2 have both released on Amazon/Kindle Unlimited, and across the globe people have enjoyed Ranthia's journey.

Seriously, amazing stuff.

And one of my originally planned art commissions is finally in hand; not from the original artist I'd planned to commission but from the amazing Evanyell!

The paperdoll I plan to use for the Ask a Character (just Ranthia, for the foreseeable future) is real! Of course, this is just my prototype. The actual art files are in color and have alternative heads and hands. This I printed on a printer meant for documents, just to make sure the parts work.

Also pictured: my terrible hole punching and "Crim, you can't spend 2+ hours on a throwaway prototype" scissoring.

I don't know what 2026 will hold, but I hope it'll be a grand year for all of us—and for Blind Chaos! No matter what comes, I fully intend to keep sharing Ranthia's story. Which means I should probably try to avoid falling in the shower again going forward—because seriously ow. (No, I will not be sharing pictures of my scary bruises. Yes, I'm more-or-less fine.)

And thank you—all of you—for reading it. With extra special (and undying) gratitude to those of you that have supported me, offered me a kind word, and/or left a rating either on Royal Road or on Amazon (on either book 1 or book 2). Each and every one of you is The Best. Especially you, the entity reading this very line.

And don't worry, the chapters are still going up today in ~4 hours, I just wanted to share something for the end of the year!
