Hey everyone, public FYI post time!

I had some weird and worrying PC issues yesterday and, after a lot of diagnostics, I finally tracked down the cause.

Those numbers? Those numbers are only happy when they're zero.

The primary SSD in my computer is dying fast. Even though I specifically asked the technology gods not to force me to buy anything related to memory in 2026. Thanks jerks. See if I sacrifice anything else in your honor! Bleeeeeeh~

Anyhow, as of right now the SSD is actually failing 'gracefully', in that my computer is (usually) still functioning. As such, I hope it'll hold on until I can source a replacement (I'm actually venturing out after I post this to check local stores in case they have a sale or clearance SSD that beats online prices on something I'd be willing to accept), mirror the drive, and replace it.

IF things go well, I should be able to avoid any interruptions to my writing. But that if is exceedingly load-bearing.

Really, really getting sick of unexpected and expensive emergencies. Fuck this year so, so much.
