No Update Today - August 12th (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

I really hate having to do this, but I'm forced to beg for a bit of patience. My chronic inner ear stuff flared up again over the weekend and I just haven't been able to get today's chapter finished. I think that I'm doing a bit better today, so I choose to be hopeful that I can still manage to finish things by Friday—but I won't know for sure until I see how I am tomorrow.

Life lesson for you all: if you have an ear infection that you can't shake and your doctor claims they can't refer you to a specialist unless the ear infection lasts for 3+ months, do not believe them. An ear infection that lasts for more than 2-3 weeks is a severe emergency. And I'm definitely never going to forgive the clinic for lying to me about that, just to try to wring more visits out of me while they continued to extend doses of the same non-helping antibiotic.

Permanently made my vision a bit more sensitive, and I get periodic flareups of unhappy inner ear where I get to enjoy being dizzy from sitting upright for too long and constant ringing in my ears. And per the specialist I finally saw, there's just nothing to do about it. Grump.

tl;dr - No update today because Crim's body sucks. I'll do my damned best to have a chapter by Friday.
