Today I want to share with you the story behind a very special series of photos I took of my friend Nino in a wild poppy garden we found near home.

We got up early with the intention of doing a photo session in some beautiful olive trees we had seen earlier. However, when we arrived at the place, we realized they were covered in tall grass, making it impossible to carry out the session as we had planned. But instead of getting discouraged, we decided to improvise.

On the way back, we discovered a charming garden of wild poppies. The flowers were in full bloom, painting the landscape with vibrant reds and oranges. It was a perfect place for an impromptu photo session.

Nino was already ready and oiled up for the photos, and everything seemed to be in place. But just as I was about to start shooting, I realized I had forgotten the SD cards at home. I couldn't believe it!

Instead of losing heart, we decided to make the most of the situation and took the photos with his mobile phone. Although it wasn't what we had planned, it turned out to be an incredible experience. The morning light, the poppies, and the spontaneity of the moment created a magical atmosphere that is reflected in each of the photos.

This unforeseen event taught us that sometimes the best things happen when we least expect them and that creativity knows no bounds. I hope you enjoy this series as much as we enjoyed creating it.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes la historia detrás de una serie de fotos muy especiales que tomé a mi amigo Nino en un jardín de amapolas salvajes que encontramos cerca de casa.

Nos levantamos temprano con la intención de hacer una sesión de fotos en unos hermosos olivos que habíamos visto anteriormente. Sin embargo, cuando llegamos al lugar, nos dimos cuenta de que estaban cubiertos de hierba alta, lo que hacía imposible realizar la sesión tal como la habíamos planeado. Pero en lugar de desanimarnos, decidimos improvisar.

En el camino de vuelta, descubrimos un encantador jardín de amapolas salvajes. Las flores estaban en su máximo esplendor, pintando el paisaje de un vibrante rojo y naranja. Era un lugar perfecto para una sesión de fotos improvisada.

Nino ya estaba listo y aceitado para las fotos, y todo parecía estar en su lugar. Pero, justo cuando estaba a punto de empezar a disparar, me di cuenta de que había olvidado las tarjetas SD en casa. ¡No lo podía creer!

En lugar de perder el ánimo, decidimos aprovechar la situación y sacar las fotos con su teléfono móvil. Aunque no era lo que habíamos planeado, resultó ser una experiencia increíble. La luz de la mañana, las amapolas y la espontaneidad del momento crearon una atmósfera mágica que se refleja en cada una de las fotos.

Este imprevisto nos enseñó que, a veces, las mejores cosas suceden cuando menos lo esperamos y que la creatividad no conoce límites. Espero que disfruten de esta serie tanto como nosotros disfrutamos creándola.
