I have so much content accumulated over the years that I often forget just how many photographs and stories are sitting in my archives. So it's actually great when you guys reach out and ask me to go back into the archives and revisit some of these forgotten shoots.

And here's a little fact about this particular session:

I took these photographs on August 21, 2021, five years ago, with Brian, a young model from Valencia.

At the time, I was going through a depressive episode following a breakup. It was a difficult period in my life, and eventually I reached out for professional help.

Looking back, maybe that's part of the reason my brain chose to put these photographs somewhere in the back of the archive and forget about them for a while.

It's strange to revisit them now and think about everything I was going through behind the camera while creating these images. It reminds me that every photoshoot has a story behind it, even when you can't see it in the final photographs.

So don't ever be shy about asking me about an old session, a particular model, or a photograph you've seen. You might just remind me of a story I haven't thought about in years. ❤️

And who knows… maybe there's a lot more hidden in my archives waiting to be rediscovered.

Tengo tantísimo contenido acumulado a lo largo de los años que muchas veces olvido la cantidad de fotografías e historias que tengo guardadas en mis archivos. Así que me encanta cuando ustedes me escriben y me piden volver atrás y rescatar algunas de estas sesiones que habían quedado olvidadas.

Y aquí va un pequeño dato sobre esta sesión:

Hice estas fotografías el 21 de agosto de 2021, hace cinco años, con Brian, un joven modelo de Valencia.

En aquel momento estaba pasando por un episodio depresivo después de una ruptura. Fue una etapa difícil de mi vida y, finalmente, decidí buscar ayuda profesional.

Mirando atrás, quizás esa sea parte de la razón por la que mi cerebro decidió guardar estas fotografías en algún rincón del archivo y olvidarse de ellas durante un tiempo.

Es extraño volver a verlas ahora y pensar en todo lo que estaba viviendo detrás de la cámara mientras creaba estas imágenes. Me recuerda que cada sesión de fotos tiene una historia detrás, aunque no puedas verla en las fotografías finales.

Así que nunca tengan miedo de preguntarme por una sesión antigua, un modelo concreto o una fotografía que hayan visto. Quizás me hagan recordar una historia en la que no he pensado en años. ❤️

Y quién sabe… quizás haya mucho más escondido en mis archivos esperando a ser redescubierto.
