Mid-March Update, Wolfpine Announcement (Patreon)

Hello everyone, hope your having a good March so far, mine's been going pretty well.  All the patron work is done and I finished the first draft of that really HUGE commission I started last month (I'll post the rough draft sneak peak in a bit) so next up on my list is the patron exclusive and Lemme tell you, its gonna be something special!  

The Wolfpine Announcement

So, if you've been reading my stuff since the beginning, you might’ve noticed something: when was the last time I wrote something with my OCs!?  Well, work was to blame there, focusing on coms and patron work, but it wasn’t just that.  I’ll be frank, I kinda lost interest, that or I wrote myself into a spot where I couldn't really think of a way to take it any further.  One or the other or maybe a mix of both.  Either way, I didn’t have much drive to even brainstorm anything.  However, as of late, my interest in original content has been steadily rekindled as I’ve been trying to learn how to draw and I’ve been thinking about how to get back to it; especially in a way where I can have fun with all my OCs.  After giving it a lot of thought, inspiration hit me like an atom bomb and I’ve been frantically writing a string of new ideas I hope will lead to a ton of new stuff!

Suffice to say, Wolfpine is getting a reboot!  One character is getting almost completely reworked, the setting is getting a big revision, and a few things/characters will stay just about the same with some minor touches.  I will be writing the first major story as a Patron Exclusive, but unlike most of the exclusives I put on there, this one will be posted publicly as well (maybe a month?), as well as any other stories I write set in Wolfpine.  I won’t scuttle all the past Wolfpine stories though, don’t worry!  If you liked them, they’ll still be there!

As for my other original settings, if I have the time, I’ll look into them too.  I think Lazuli would be tweaked again (for what, the third time now?), mostly reworking Celia.  Akaria could also use a few stories too, but that's for the future.

I hope you guys will enjoy the slightly new direction the stories will be going in, It's been a long time since I've gotten this involved in my original stuff and I'm super, SUPER hyped!

Patreon and the future

With the exciting bit of news out of the way, I wanna mention that I'm thinking about switching on the subscription thing here on Patreon.   Over the years, I've had a lot of folks jump on and bounce off, though they don't get anything in the process.  The only thing that kept me from not doing it was how much of hassle it was going to be to manage people subbin' at the middle or end of the month, but I guess I can just take prompts like I normally do and pass out the stories on the sub date or treat it like commissions and write them as they come

Also, recently a certain website gave NSFW content the boot and its made me have a think just in case my ship sinks.  I figure a certain other site will work or I dunno, do a newsletter thing where I just send out notices to my "patrons" and ask if they want something every month.  I dunno, we'll see!  Hopefully it never comes to that, but its better safe than sorry!
