Hey everyone! I'm revamping Wyatt's sprite. Left is the sprite currently used in the game, right is the new sprite I'm working on. I've been told that the new sprite looks worse than the current one and I was wondering which one you prefer? And what can I do to improve the revamp?

From reading your design commentary docs, I got the impression that one of Wyatt's purposes is to subvert the My Wolf trope. If I'm right about that, I think the original sprite does a better job of setting him up to be a My Wolf in order for that subversion to pay off. I could be totally off base about that, though. I think they both look good, though.

It's divine, I love it <3 .... but as I mentioned before (in discord), maybe you can find another pose for the hand (the one that is not the fist), the hand on the waist could give it a "diva" touch considering that now we are seeing him from another angle, perhaps strike a fighting or intimidation pose

I like the current sprites body, since it's so beefy, but you might could integrate some aspects of the newer more dynamic head/pose with the older body

I like the revamped sprite in most every way except for the fact that Wyatt's Big Bara Tiddies seem... less big. That is a bit of a tragedy

I like the new sprite, but I wish he had those massive pecs from before, it was one of the reasons I fell for him…

He was supposed to be a subversion of that archetype but I think I'd want to prioritize good character art before subverting tropes.

I might try to make the pecs and arms bigger on the new one.

Having the new sprites head turn in one direction and the body in the other makes it look like he's looking behind himself. I do like the new torso art, but every time I'd see him in the game I'd think- why is that guy looking over his shoulder?
