It has occurred to me that there would be some situations where two people are having sex on screen in By Your Hands and one of them would want to use poppers so they could take more pain. But some people aren't into poppers either in real life or in erotic fiction. What are your thoughts on poppers and should they be used in By Your Hands?

Huh, now that you bring it up, I haven't read a gay VN that evens mentions poppers, let alone depicts usage of them. While I don't use them myself, I don't mind if my partners do. I wouldn't mind seeing their discussion and/or usage since they are part of some gays' sexual experiences.

I feel like a "These can sometimes help with the initial pain of buttsex and/or give you a rush that helps you get off if you have trouble 'finishing'.... they can also just be fun! But some people don't like them and/or get a pretty bad headache from them." from someone politely offering would be fine. If you want extra credit, a follow up of "Also be sure not to let the stuff get on your clothes or skin because it can leave some nasty chemical stains... and for the love of god never drink it or let more than the vapors get into your nose. In fact I always just take an eye dropper and drop some fresh stuff onto an empty jar full of cotton balls before I use them so I don't end up spilling a bunch everywhere if I happen to lose fine motor control..." But yeah, some rando just shoving them under a characters nose would be a massive ick/turn-off unless it is about to be a Very Special Episode of By Your Hands of why it is wrong/terrible to do that. (for instance having the character immediately retch and flail and kick the popper-er in the dick, ruining their night).

The second paragraph is definitely not going to happen. If anyone is going to use poppers they're definitely going to use it on themselves. Thanks for the other information, that is useful to know if I do include a scene with poppers.

Why not, i don't think i've ever seen poppers in a gay vn so it could be interesting to see. I'm mostly interested to see potential threesome scenes but poppers are fine too.
