Butterfly- Thank you so much for another great reaction for Haven, Jay!! I really enjoy this episode a lot!! I especially love learning more about Nathan and how he came to discover he couldn't feel anything, as we learn from him in the very end scene between him and Audrey. I love this moment in the end between him and Audrey!! It's also very sad. I feel so badly for Nathan, and you come to understand his character much more than you do in the first episode. You can understand why he struggles to expresses his fears about the "troubles". I also love the overall storyline as Audrey and Nathan try to figure out what's happening this time in their town with all the mysteries occurring around the butterflies. I love how at first, we're led to believe it's Reverend Driscoll, then his daughter, and the store owner, only to discover that it's the daughter's foster son all along. And that he is out of control over his mysterious ability upon him dreaming and having nightmares whenever he's asleep due to the guilt he feels over his parents' deaths. Very sad. I also love that we learn more about what have been named, the "troubles". The "troubled" like Nathan, like Bobby in this episode, and the woman with the storm "trouble" in the premiere episode. People who have abilities or inflictions caused by what's still a mystery. And the reverend believes those with these "troubles", are all sinners. Hence why he hates Nathan, and why Nathan hates Driscoll. I feel so badly for Nathan, because he is hated by Driscoll and others, simply because he has a "trouble" infliction. And one that just effects himself, not a "trouble" that can harm others like the other "troubles" we've seen so far in these first two episodes. And what phenomenal acting from Lucas Bryant, when he confronts Reverend Driscoll inside his home upon the Rev proclaiming how Godless and unclean Nathan is because he is one of the "troubled." The pain and anger in Nathan's eyes in this moment is so chilling. As tragic as the "troubles" are and how much they affected either those like Nathan inflicted alone by his "trouble" that causes him to be unable to physically feel, or those that cause trouble for others and hurt others unwillingly because they have a "trouble" that can affect others, I absolutely love the mystery surrounding these said "troubles!" As for Duke... I assure you Jay, that Duke is a major character throughout this show and he is in most episodes, Although, there may be a few here and there he might not be in. No worries. :) Thank you again so much for this great reaction, my friend! I can't wait for more reactions for Haven!! :) Sincerely, Heidi
