I'm sure most have noticed my quiet reluctance to jump on the Overwatch hype train. If something doesn't inspire me, no amount of money will. This idea came to me after having to scrap what was originally a Samus Aran animation.

I think we’d like you to focus on your big project, anything else is a bonus

Agreed. After this next release, there will be a bit of radio silence (With the exception of updates) while I give 100% attention to finishing the film.

So why no Samus? Nintendo hanging on your ass?

tsah-yawd

too bad about Samus. i'm sure you'd have done something awesome with her

I'm currently working on polishing up the first preview scene with dialogue to be released to patrons. Don't want to give a date just yet. Murphy's law has been dry fuckin my ass with a bumpy stick this entire production.

It was all a timing thing, really. Peak interest of certain characters is very short lived. By the time I modeled the character and roughed out the storyboard (I sparingly used models from the internet), excitement around Gwen dipped below a point of justification for the time I would put in to it. The upcoming Mercy animation is how I like to approach Parody content. To me, it must be timeless and true to brand, but staying on brand is what make some of the animations take such time to complete. It's silly, I know, but a zebra can't change its stripes. ¯\_( ͡╥ ₒ ͡╥)_/¯

Nintendo is on all our asses, we just don't know it yet. (tightens tinfoil hat)
