Tales from the H-Side Comic Art! Silver Surfer & Starfire: Herald of Lust (Patreon)

Silver Surfer gives Starfire a cosmic ride in a sea of stars. During the trip, the Tamaranean beauty can't resist indulging her curiosity about Surfer's unique anatomy!

Remastering details:

Remastered in UHD.

Numerous splotch, line overrun & noise cleanup.

Starfire's missing eyebrows have been restored in panel 3. Fluids related to the action have been properly added.

Shadows were poorly executed in the un-remastered original, often being displayed as large pools of solid black. Unfortunately, not enough line art detail survives to completely fix this problem, but we've tried to rebuild the areas worst impacted by it, such as Surfer's hip in panel 1 as well as Starfire's neck in panel 3.

The original background was a bland star field. We've replaced it with a colorful space-scape surrounding an alien world. The characters are intended to be orbiting this planet as they enjoy their own heavenly bodies.

The layout of the comic page has been reoriented to minimize the amount of empty space in the final panel. Panels 1 and 2 have been swapped as we preferred Starfire looking at Surfer while commenting on his peculiar anatomy. Additionally, the format has been changed from portrait to landscape, with this new presentation intended for modern viewing devices.

Dialog balloons are larger and easier to read. The script has been refined and the timing of certain dialog altered in support of that. The main displeasure for us with the old build was that we regretted the lame, generic "mile-high" anchor which could be used for any characters appearing in space. In this revised script, we personalize the experience for Starfire and Surfer in what we hope is a more satisfying climax.

The original editions are also included in the attached archive for comparison so that viewers can see all of these improvements.

Patrons who have read this far, thank you for taking the time to understand the enormity of the challenge the team is facing. In order to achieve our goals of updating every Tales from the H-Side page to modern viewing standards, it involves essentially rebuilding each comic page based on the best surviving art elements. That's why remasters will be every other week, at least during this early period where comic pages are at the roughest. The investment will be worth it though, we promise! Thanks for your continued support at a time we're doing our utmost to get more comic content to the patrons! 💛
