Comic #909: Timerunner's Advantage (Patreon)

Nomi was a young Pandaren in pandaria and returned as an adult in Legion. He was famous in Legion for burning everyone's food during the cooking dailies. Since Remix is a retelling of the Pandaria expansion, Gigz is using the opportunity to "save" the timeline.

This is not my first Nomi comic. Others include #555 and #666.

I wanted to match the last panel of #666 while still keeping Nomi looking like an innocent child. It was a hard line to walk. Too far one way and he looked like a monster, too far the other way and he looked too sweet. Originally I didn't include Nomi's name above his head in the final panel, but I wasn't sure how many people would recognize him, or even remember he was present as a child in Pandaria.

I also purposefully matched the final panel to #867. In fact, originally this comic was going to feature different characters, but I decided to use Nyte and Gigz in order to match that panel. In the end it really worked out better since Gigz already had the history in the comic of hating Nomi as well as being a chef herself.
