My initial idea for this comic had the entire cast inverted. Instead of Nyte, originally I was going to use some friendly non-guild member (I was going to use Pal, the jovial mustached paladin from comics like #871). He was going to join the group, and run to the instance, much like how Nyte did, but instead of the final panel showing a chat box, I was going to cut back to town where we would see Gigz, Miji, Narya and Keydar relaxing and asking for a summon.

I ended up changing it because I struggled to figure out how I was going to make that final panel. Are they lying on the ground? Are they in an inn? Is it clear they are back in town? Before I got too far into that whole process it occurred to me that I could use a chat box.

I also decided it would be funny to show the listing as "pumpers only" while none of them even bother to run to the instance. Once I decided that I realized I needed the toxic crew to be the bad guys in this one instead of the Dark Legacy crew.

I also got to make another loading screen tip, which I love to do. I've had a comic idea written down for ages about trade chat devolving into general chat 2.0. I feel like half the time I try to use trade chat to find a crafter, someone's in there sharing their 200 page political manifesto. I never could think of a way to make a full comic out of it, but this tip made a good spot.

At least this gives Nyte some time to reconsider whether she really wants to trust Douché to tank...

This is one thing I love(d) about WoW and SoD. People have to travel, or the dungeon doesn't get started.

Ugh. An alternate version could be when people are forming for something, where you got 20 people sitting in a raid but 1-2 other people are 'just finishing up' something while still in a bg or raid while wanting us to hold a spot. Yeah I'd love to be doing things than sitting here making the raid look full TOO. Jerks.
