Sometimes I make a really nice background image for a comic, and get really excited to share it with you all. Then I remember my comic has characters, and they have to be put on the background, and their dumb faces block half the image.

I used this image in #602, but stupid Krom ruined it. So here it is in all its glory.

I used elements of this image in other comics, like #533, but of course I re-used them because I'm lazy.

Reminds me of a time I was enjoying some time fishing in the Hinterlands before being rudely interupted by a hunter of the horde. An epic battle ensued and I was confused about why the encounter was taking so long to resolve. I was impressed by their ability to last so long under the relentless onslaught of my attacks. It was only when their broken body lay defeated at my feet that I realised I still had my rare fishing rod equipped and my trusty arcanite reaper was still in my backpack. A skeleton appeared at my feet and the 2nd battle didnt last as long. I then enjoyed some further quiet time beside the pond increasing my fishing skill.

As I sit here photoshopping and rendering CG images of buildings and dropping people in, I was just thinking - could we do the same as supporters with some of your artwork? Maybe a make your own Christmas card or something with cutout bits to arrange on a background? Keep up the good work - so happy to be able to support you in a tiny way (for another 10 years!)

Oh wow, I put this up as my background. It is actually really pleasant. I like it!
