Comic #160: Birthday Presents (Patreon)

I feel like this comic ended up being somewhat prescient with Deathwing's sacking of Stormwind. Maybe too many people made fun of Deathwing's stature or age.

I'm surprised I didn't keep going with this one. It would have made for a fun mini arc. I know I didn't have the best track record of ending my arcs at this point in the comics, but could have ended it pretty easily by just having the buffs expire. There's so many ways I could have gone. He could have downed the rest of the food, grown huge, and stabbed Silithus or something.

Funny enough this comic still applies today. Though these days it's probably more done with toys. I've definitely seen hunter pets that were the size of buildings. I'm surprised that I haven't made more comics involving toys actually. I bet there's something there. I can already picture Narya inventing something that prevents toy buffs from expiring and he gets stuck looking like a bush.

Also, random side note, but there seems to be no rhyme or reason to the border color of the speech bubbles in this phase of the comics. One week they are blue, the next purple, then grey, no idea how I made that decision.
