Comic #165: Foreman Horace (Patreon)

Oops, I forgot to post on Wednesday! Sorry friends.

I don't say this often for my older work but this makes such a great still.

Also, I clearly used the same drawing from #127 for this one. I changed the eyes from Xs to circles though, so it's okay.

Oh man. Waiting for named quest NPCs to spawn was the WORST. I remember especially when TBC was released having to stand in Hellfire Peninsula next to a spawn point for a named quest NPC for ages with dozens of other players spamming attack hoping I would tag him first. I'm glad that the game has evolved to the point where the joke here doesn't really apply much anymore, but it was a good joke.

This one also reminds me a bit of #81 where the players are whining about minor gripes while NPCs lives are being ruined around them.

Reading this one makes me realize how long it's been since I've used horace. At the time of my writing this I haven't used him since #789 in 2021.

It's odd that I literally drew a Borean Tundra background for comic #157 but decided to go with a completely non-tundra looking background for this one even though Horace specifically states he's in Borean Tundra.
