Comic #615: Progression (Patreon)

This is one of those comics where I have to struggle between people not understanding the joke, and putting in way too much exposition. If I give no exposition, I risk many people not getting the joke. If I put in too much exposition, it takes away from the punchline.

I had a version where the text in the final panel was a lot more expository, and said "Does the elevator boss count towards progression?" I thought that was way too clunky, so I decided in the end to leave it out.

Now I just have to wait and see how many "I don't get it" comments I get, to see if I succeeded or not.
