Comic #191: No More Puns (Patreon)

Clearly I was trying to solve this whole speech bubble thing because in the previous comics and this one it looks like I was trying to add an outline to help them stand out better against the background. Eventually I tried to solve the issue by just using a darker color. Eventually I would finally realize I could just outline the speech bubbles in black like every other comic on earth but not for another year and a half.

This one is a bit silly. In hindsight I think most readers might think there must be some deeper joke here or double-entendre but in reality Keydar probably just made a dumb Tauren cow off-color sexual joke.

I do love that I drew a hardass biker tauren. Clearly I wanted to get across the idea that this tauren wasn't someone to mess with. This is another wasted character I could have used later on. I think taurens were just too much of a pain to draw.

I went ahead and looked into the original comic file and found this gem:

I'm guessing I initially had Nyte give him a bouquet of flowers to help Keydar make the right joke. I'm not sure why I changed it. I think that would have been funnier.
