Comic #632: Model Upgrade (Patreon)

Man, I had about 10 different versions of this comic before I finally settled on one I liked. I really wanted to make a joke about Teldrassil finally getting a model update only once it was burned down.

I had one where Gigz wished for Teldrassil to get a new model, and she got her wish, but it was on fire. I just felt that it was too obvious, and people would see it coming a mile away.

I had one where a Worgen whined to Gigz about how at least Teldrassil got an update, unlike Worgens, and she should be happy, so Gigz set him on fire. As much as I enjoy Gigz being a sociopath, it just didn't seem as funny to me.

So I finally decided on a version where people wouldn't realize it was a Teldrassil joke until the end. But that meant I couldn't have any exposition, so hopefully the joke comes across.
