Comic #639: Stat Un-Squish (Patreon)

I struggled with trying to avoid needless exposition about his invention, but I wasn't really sure how, so I just made the exposition way over the top Star Trek-like technobabble, and had it be part of the joke. 

Here's Narya's technobabble in full:

You see, the Stat Un-squisher™ in effect creates a dampening field around you that can modulate the polarization of patchion radiation, thus preventing patchions oscillating at specific frequencies from modifying your attributes. Patchions of course are the particles responsible for the implementation of patches across azeroth. Patches, though thought of as permanent, are actually just objects within our world interacting with the patchion field, you see. By restricting specific patchions from interacting with us, we can effectively shield ourselves from world changes we dislike. So in effect, this device creates a personal protective bubble against certain patch effects! Isn’t engineering wonderful?!
