Comic #30: Effort (Patreon)

Miji's still dumb.

The title of this comic was kind of a meta double-joke. It was a reference both to Miji's climb, and the fact that I actually made a background and real panels for the first time.

From this point on, all my comics had panels with full backgrounds. Originally, I couldn't decide if the panel margins should be black or white, and you'll see that for the next several comics after this one, the margins will swap from one to the other. The comics settled on black margins up until #260, where for some reason I couldn't decide what color to make them. They went back to white on #315 when I finally decided to tag the comic images with the title and website.
