I worked hard on that M+ window.

I was thinking of a comic about meta affixes. As I was coming up with the affixes, it occurred to me that since most of the "affixes" occur in every run anyway, having them on a keystone instead of standard affixes would be a net positive.

What was hard for me in getting that idea across in this comic was the dialogue in the final panel. I really liked my final choice of "no affixes this week!", but I have no idea if people will understand the premise of my joke from those words. I toyed with the idea of having her say "redundant affixes!" instead, to make the joke absolutely clear, but it sounded clunky and just wasn't as funny.

You don't want your punchlines to explain too much, but you also don't want them so vague that people won't even get them. Unfortunately I have no way of knowing how other people will interpret some jokes them until after I have posted them.

Sometimes I find myself surprised, and jokes I thought were obvious were really not at all, as I was relying too much on my own experiences, while others that I was overly concerned with were understood almost universally.

I thought the punchline worked great and I haven't actually played since Cataclysm lol.
