Comic #717: Crash Landing (Patreon)

I'm so proud of that title. I don't think it really counts as a spoiler if you don't know it's coming. I also think the title might mislead readers into thinking she's literally going to crash. Let me know if it worked.

I was concerned with people getting the joke in this comic. It's a joke about one of those niche game experiences that I'm not entirely sure is universal. Disconnecting while landing accounts for probably 90% of all game disconnects I experience. I especially have it happen when I use gliders or abilities while landing. I asked some friends in game and they too have had it happen, so here goes nothing. I've heard it has to do with anti-botting detection but I'm not entirely sure if that's true.

I was close to just using a screenshot for the final panel, because the thought of drawing the login screen was daunting. I'll probably do a behind-the-scenes post later this week showing the process.
