This vanilla era quest in blasted lands was infamous for this common complaint. At the time this comic was posted we were already in TBC, so I must have been leveling an alt and doing these quests again. I'm glad Classic WoW exists now, because some of my early comics are relevant again.

I remember being disappointed when I first posted this comic because I received several critical comments saying I was using Donald too much. However over the years the last line in this comic has been quoted to me more than anything else. So I am perplexed.

I think at the time they were probably right, but over the course of time, when you have access to 700+ comics, those issues probably don't matter as much.

I think almost nobody will care about this last fact, but this comic also hits a different very important milestone for myself. The Photoshop file for this comic is the first to be actually organized! The layers are actually nicely grouped in folders! Every comic before this one had layers just scattered together in a giant list like I was some kind of maniac.

Your sense of pacing has definitely improved since the old days, but there is something satisfying about how long it takes Miji to crack open that skull. It makes the world feel more real than just right-clicking and watching a bar fill.

I legit lol'd here. I also want to know why a third of bears don't have livers.

Wait, this was actually the origin of "But if I use my mouse to turn how do I click on rend?" Whenever I reread this strip I assumed it was making a reference and it was from some vanilla-era video or something.
