Comic #835: Murloc and Load (Patreon)

This one is a callback to several comics, most notably the small arc starting with #774. I wanted to continue the trend of murlocs being eloquent in their own language.

The basic idea came from wanting to make a comic around NPCs that run away at low health. At first I was going to use kobolds, but I had already established the Murloc culture in the earlier arc, so I felt it fit better. I had also originally considered making a comic around trying to pull one mob and instead getting way too many.

Originally the comic had a slightly different final panel:

I ended up changing it for a couple of reasons. First, because I wanted to be sure the whole idea of a the murloc being a runner was clear, and secondly because I felt it was way too similar to #789. I also just found that final panel funnier, because of everyone staring at Narya, and narya's internal "oh shit" moment.

I had to change it to Nyte instead of Keydar, because let's be honest, Keydar would never have noticed.
