Comic #854: Point of View (Patreon)

I've had this idea written down in my notes for YEARS. It was in a list I had titled "petty complaints", along with things like "rogue poison buff timers" and "quest item cooldowns". The skybox in Stormwind looks so ancient and crappy, but I never could think of a way to make it work in a comic. They may one day upgrade the Stormwind skybox, so I wanted to get the idea in while it was still relevant.

I spent a lot of time on that first panel. You can probably tell it's a modification of the background from #844.

I originally was going to call this "The View" until I realized I had already used that title before.

I snuck in a space invaders easter egg in the final panel. The little invader was originally going to go across the entire screen from right to left, but it was way too conspicuous. I decided in the end to have it pop out from behind the sun and only be in view for 6 frames out of the full 24, and I moved the sun all the way over to the left to accommodate that.
